Our Story

ActZero was founded on the idea of helping defend against the enemy. After a decade of U.S. government service, as well as pioneering startups in Silicon Valley, Founder and CEO Sameer Bhalotra brought his collective knowledge of the security industry to build an affordable service that would endure and continuously protect smaller companies who are the foundation of the world.

Pulling together a powerful leadership team from across the industry, we began two years of intensive research and development to create a powerful cybersecurity service with AI at the core. ActZero acquired award-winner Toronto-based IntelliGO Networks in 2020 to fast-track AI technology and data science. In 2021, ActZero officially launched its Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service in California with a $70 million investment from Point72.

ActZero puts defense at the center of what we do, continuously finding ways to improve with precision and purpose. As a Gartner-recognized MDR service and recent winner of the 2022 SC Awards Best MDR Service with more than 100 worldwide employees, we strive to become your accountability partner.
