Meet Our Leadership Team

A leader in building startups, Sameer Bhalotra is an industry veteran with 15 years experience in cybersecurity. As Co-Founder and CEO of ActZero, Sameer is driving the company's strategy and its evolution as the industry’s leading Managed Detection and Response Service provider.

His experience spans the U.S. Government, leading research universities, and the security products industry. Most recently, he served as Co-founder CEO of StackRox, acquired by IBM; and as a cybersecurity executive at Google.

He also served in the U.S. government in various roles including Senior Director for Cybersecurity on the National Security Council staff at the White House and Cybersecurity & Technology Lead for the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.

Sameer holds a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Stanford University, and a B.A in Physics & Chemistry from Harvard University.

As VP of Partnerships, Hal leads our channel sales efforts, building and optimizing our go-to-market partnerships with some of the cybersecurity industry’s top distributors, resellers and MSPs.

Previous to ActZero and IntelliGO, Hal worked with The Chertoff Group advising technology and cybersecurity clients on growth strategy, strategic communications, and Merger & Acquisition efforts. He has a B.A. in History from Yale University. 

Lee Ann is a leader in financial services and technical accounting. She is an industry veteran with over 20 years experience in accounting, auditing and finance. As Chief Financial Officer of ActZero, Lee Ann is driving the company’s financial management and accounting best practices as it evolves toward market leadership as a Managed Detection and Response provider.

Lee Ann leads the technical accounting practice for Ravix Group as a managing partner and oversees outsource financial services for numerous clients in and around Silicon Valley. Previously, Lee Ann worked as a Senior Audit Manager for Deloitte & Touche and Arthur Andersen.

She graduated from Hendrix College in Arkansas with a B.A. in Economics and Business, and is a Certified Public Accountant (Arkansas, inactive).

A thought-leader in Cyber technology, Adam Winston has the depth of knowledge of an industry veteran, with over 15 years of experience in the Cybersecurity sector. As Chief Security Officer of ActZero, Adam is driving the company's Virtual Chief Information Security Officer (VCISO) and technology integration programs, and its evolution as the industry’s leading Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service provider.

Adam’s experience is both broad and deep within the sector, and spans endpoint, network and cloud systems security; audits and architecture; building and managing SOCs; software development and resellership alike; healthcare, education, defense and financial organizations; global enterprises of all sizes. Most recently, he served as VCISO helping customers through new privacy regulations GDPR, CCPA and Bill C-11 and guidance on how to prevent complex malware such as SolarGate and RaaS.

Prior to ActZero, Adam was the Founder and CTO of IntelliGO Networks (acquired by ActZero) and he developed its proprietary MDR software, built to service the threat hunting process. He also had key roles in managed security services for SIEM, NGFW and Penetration Testing performed by the company.

Adam holds a BASc in Computer Science as well as multiple industry certifications and awards for ethical hacking and various cyber technologies.

Responsible for multiple customer-facing teams, including Threat Hunting and Customer Service, Yael embodies one of our top corporate values: Customer Focus. 

Yael has over 10 years' experience leading operations teams and business transformation initiatives across multiple Fortune 500 companies. 

Prior to ActZero, Yael established an operations organization in the TLV office of Meta (previously known as Facebook) to address integrity processes and community standards for emerging-markets products such as Facebook Lite, Interent.org, Express Wi-Fi and more.

Brian Winant is an accomplished technical leader, with 20+ years of experience building exceptional products and innovative teams. 

As the Vice President of Engineering at ActZero, Brian drives the company's Research and Development efforts in its evolution as the industry’s leading Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service provider.

Brian is an expert in fixing underperforming applications, serverless application design and cloud cost optimization. Prior to his recent experience at Capital One, Brian held Principal Engineering roles at F5, multiple startups, and was an engineering manager at PlayStation. He is passionate about eliminating technical debt and unnecessary meetings, alike. 

Brian holds a Masters of Science from the George Washington University.

RK, serves as our Head of Product , takes the helm in steering our product development initiatives. He is instrumental in introducing fresh solutions to the market, ensuring our clients' access to cutting-edge security solutions, and propelling ActZero to a leadership position in the MDR industry.
With over 15 years of experience in the field, RK has a rich professional background. Prior to his current role, he held a range of positions in engineering and product management at prominent organizations, including eSentire, Sandvine, Bluecoat Systems, and Aricent. RK holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and has a track record of achievement in driving the success of various products.
